Billing and Payment
- The doctors practicing out of Tugun Family Medicine are independent contractors and choose to privately bill their patients. Billing is at the doctor's discretion.
- All practitioners are independent contractors and set their own fees.
- All Medicare rebates are submitted to Medicare either by our reception team or by you.
- Reduced fee for children (14 and under), pensioner and healthcare cardholders - must be updated at the time of consultation.
- Home visits attract a private dee - except under certain circumstances (regular visits, etc.).
- Telehealth communications are privately billed as per the doctor's normal fees. Patients are only eligible for a Medicare rebate if they have seen a doctor face to face at the clinic within the last 12 months.
- Payment is required at the time of the consultation.

MasterCard, Visa, EFTPOS and cash are accepted.
