Established in 1977 as a solo practice, Tugun Family Medicine is a doctor-owned practice with a long history of providing quality health care to the community of Tugun and surrounds.

Since its establishment in 1977, Tugun Family Medicine has expanded into a medium-sized practice with extensive multidisciplinary support. Our multidisciplinary medical services are certified and maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.

We take pride in being accredited with Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) for 20 years.

Reliable Team and Personalised Services

We are a team of five full-time doctors including our Practice Principals, Dr Don MacGeachy and Dr Jeff Pitman, along with three other highly experienced part-time doctors.

We also have a support team for administration and reception in addition to three registered nurses working out of two dedicated fully equipped treatment rooms to provide quality patient service.

Our practice has a conveniently located pathology centre on our premises, a pharmacy next door and ample parking space.

Preventative Care and Wellness Centre

Our medical practice is committed to preventative care and focuses on providing all our patients with general care today for a healthier tomorrow. Our modern medical care centre specialises in travel medicine, minor skin procedures, blood pressure management, weight management and several wellness screenings.
